General Preparation for Your Tuscany Wedding

Photo Submission: We kindly request that the bride and bridesmaids provide recent photographs and any hair and makeup inspiration images prior to the trial or wedding day. This will help us tailor the look to your vision.

High-Quality Products: We use only premium makeup and hairstyling products designed to endure the hot Italian summer. However, if you have a favorite product you’d like us to incorporate, please bring it with you to both the trial and wedding day.

Lipstick: It’s recommended that the bride brings her own lipstick for touch-ups throughout the day.

Hair Preparation

Bring your own hair accessories (e.g., crowns, pins, clips, etc.) as we do not provide these.

For Updos:

Hair should be washed the day before the wedding; day-old hair is ideal for styling.

Ensure hair is thoroughly rinsed with no leave-in products.

You may let your hair air dry or blow dry it.

For those with ethnic hair, please ensure it is completely washed and dry (either blow-dried or straightened) before the appointment. This will ensure a quicker and smoother styling process.

For Blow-Dry or Ironed Hair:

Hair should be freshly washed and rinsed thoroughly on the day of the trial or wedding day.

If you are getting a blow-dry, you may arrive with damp hair.

If you’re getting an updo, please come with your hair dry, with no added styling products.

Extensions:

For added volume or length, we recommend clip-in or semi-permanent bonded extensions. These work wonderfully for any hair style, whether it’s an updo, half-up, or a down style.

Please prepare your extensions using the same methods as your natural hair.

Hair Accessories:

Makeup Preparation

Be aware of tiger mosquitoes in Florence, which can cause swelling and discomfort. We recommend using mosquito repellent during your stay in the area.

Pre-Application:

On the day of the trial or wedding, cleanse and lightly moisturize your skin.

Avoid heavy creams, oils, or masks, as they may cause makeup to slide off or cake.

Sun Exposure:

For best results, try to avoid sun exposure before the trial or wedding. Sunburned or red skin may prevent makeup from adhering properly.

We highly recommend wearing sun protection (SPF) leading up to your appointment.

Airbrush Makeup:

We do not offer airbrush makeup. Instead, we use high-end products that apply smoothly and provide a flawless finish.

Mosquito Protection:

Bridal Party and Guest Requirements

We will confirm our arrival time based on the number of people and the time you wish to be ready by.

Bridal Party Schedule:

If the bride has a large bridal party, please create a schedule that includes the names of each lady, the services she’ll be receiving, and the estimated time for each service.

On average, each hairstyle and makeup application takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

We can accommodate multiple ladies simultaneously, depending on the number of stylists available.

Preparation Area:

Ideally, we request that all hair and makeup be done in one room to ensure smooth and efficient preparation. This will help avoid delays and keep things running on time.

Please prepare at least two tables and two chairs in the room to ensure adequate space for setup.

Arrival Time:

We will confirm our arrival time based on the number of people and the time you wish to be ready by.
